Before you start

If you already ran a mystery EXE, this is a security hour, not an ads hour. Banners in a signed Kingsoft build are annoying; they are not a license to fetch an ads-killer.

Steps

  1. Confirm the publisher Kingsoft Office Software Corporation Limited should own the install. Unknown publisher: uninstall, then official channels.
  2. Look in settings for notifications and ads Turn off optional tips and marketing toggles. Names move between builds; hunt rather than installing a helper.
  3. Decide if Premium is worth it Quiet chrome, extra cloud, and PDF extras are the usual purchase. Confirm on wps.com.
  4. Refuse ad-free installers A video description EXE is the malware product. Delete it. Do not allow anyway.
  5. Reinstall clean if you already slipped Uninstall strangers. Install from wps.com/download or 9NSGM705MQWC only.
